I always allow my donkey tail to dry out a little before repotting. The leaves tend to just pop off otherwise. You could wait a while for it to adjust to the environment.

It’s so cute! I have one I repotted recently and it’s amazing how much it has filled up the bigger pot already. They’re the most adorable plants.
